The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on the franchise of a thriving yacht club which has a healthy membership and as the preferred caterer you will supply catering services to the membership and deliver the social calendar throughout the year. You will be expected to provide a range of menus from day-to-day bar food to club events through the year including 3 course dinners, themed nights and buffets. You will be responsible for staffing the kitchen. The Club will provide Front of House staff and support free for Club events.
The Yacht Club will provide a fully commercial kitchen and will be responsible for maintaining equipment and cover the cost of energy bills. As Franchisee you will be entitled to all the catering profits. You will pay a daily fee for use of the kitchen and for the cost to the Club of providing Front of House staff and support for private events on the Club’s premises (but not the cost of staff and support for Club events which will be borne by the Club).
In addition to the profits of catering for the Club within the remit of this agreement you will have the opportunity and be encouraged to develop your own business further by outside catering or a similar independent business in line with and subject to the Club’s values and requirements.
The Franchisee
To be considered for this role you must have the catering skills and be able to deliver the range of menus and events required through the Club’s social calendar.
You will either be a Chef that will work in the kitchen and bring in additional labour when required or be an existing catering company that will staff the kitchen with Chefs as required to meet the Club’s needs.
Ideally you will have a track record of running a successful kitchen and/or catering business but all applications will be considered.
Previous catering revenue figures will be made available to genuinely interested parties.
