The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on the contract of a leisure club and catering outlet which forms part of a luxury apartment complex right on the coast and also attracts a healthy local membership. The club consists of a swimming pool, health club and gym facilities, a restaurant/café, terrace area and small commercial kitchen. You will oversee all aspects of this operation and will meet the agreed required opening times which fluctuate through the seasons but provide a 7-day operations 364 days a year.
You will be provided with the necessary equipment and facilities at no cost, and you will take responsible for labour, consumables and any marketing costs. You will provide an excellent level of customer service and enjoy building relationships with members and owners alike and be creative in offering new menus and events/themed nights to encourage usage and ultimate grow revenue across the opening times.
You will be required to meet all health and safety and food hygiene requirements as this will form a key part of your contractual agreement.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you must have the necessary catering and business acreman to successfully run this operation and fulfil the requirements of the contract. You will have a track record of running a successful kitchen and/or catering business.
You will hold a food hygiene certificate, personal license and first aid certificate as a minimum.
This role would suit a Chef Manager that will work in the kitchen and bring in additional labour when required or be an existing catering company that will staff the kitchen with Chefs as required to meet the Clubs need.
Previous catering revenue figures and contract details will be made available to genuinely interested parties.
