A fabulous opportunity for an experienced Conference and Banqueting Operations Manager to join one of the South West’s leading resorts and largest event venues.
This is a key role operationally overseeing a full calendar of events and leading a large team to deliver the very best guest experience.

The Role
This key role will support the Food and Beverage Management team across the day to day running of this busy department which includes fine and casual dining, bars and a range of banqueting and events including weddings and conference.
You will coordinate with the Wedding and Events Manager to provide a smooth transaction from planning to delivery ensuring this is seamless for the guests.
You will support the wider management teams will involving duty management shifts across this large resort overseeing all departments on a rotational basis
Oher duties will include:
Delivery of targets, cost control and profitability
- Ensuring Health and Food safety is adhered to at all times and that the team are fully trained and compliant
- Leading the way in ensuring the venue is offering a contemporary food and beverage offering and enhancing its reputation
- Recruiting, training and leading your team and ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Accurate of systems and that financial security is paramount.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will possess considerable food and beverage supervisory or management experience with a focus on conference and banqueting.
You will be a strong communicator with the confidence to lead a large team and with experience in a high volume and fast paced environment. A good level of computer literacy is also required for this role.
It would be advantageous to have some experience in the 4 of 5-star market and across multi-faceted outlets.
